The PLEX-ID Flu assay is a qualitative, non-diagnostic assay intended for the detection and characterization of known and newly emerging influenza A,B, and C viruses directly from human, avian, animal, or environmental specimens in a single test, regardless of shift or drift, through nucleic acid amplification and subsequent mass spectrometry analysis.
*Magnetic beads and clean-up reagents are included with the T5000 assay but must be purchased separately for use with the PLEX-ID assay.
Positive, negative, or extraction controls are not provided.
The PLEX-ID Flu assay kit includes:
- 10 Plates (120 Assays)
- Plate Processing Protocol
- RT-PCR Enzyme Dilution Buffer
- RNA Dilution Buffer
The PLEX-ID Flu assay uses nine primer pairs multiplexed into eight wells to detect and identify all known and emerging influenza A, B and C viruses.
